Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Licensed Independent Social Worker to join our team! You will assess and treat individuals with mental, emotional, or substance abuse problems, including abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and/or other drugs. Activities may include individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, client advocacy, prevention, and educationResponsibilities:Assess nature of clients' situations by interviewing and reviewing personal historyCarry caseload of 15-20 clientsDevelop and execute individual treatment plansDetermine appropriate milestones to gauge client progressCommunicate client updates to all relevant partiesFacilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and programsMaintain accurate client documentationQualifications:Licensed Social WorkerPrevious experience in social work, counseling, or other related fieldsAt least 5years previous work experience in behavioral health care/social services.Compassionate and caring demeanorAbility to build rapport with clientsStrong leadership qualitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCompany DescriptionAbout Urban Minority Alcoholism Outreach:
