Job Overview

This role involves supporting clients with various tasks within accounting and finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Controller, CFO, or Project Leader for clients
  • Manage multiple client stakeholders simultaneously
  • Prepare accounting reports
  • Lead and participate in ad hoc projects
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
  • Perform due diligence procedures for clients
  • Assist with SEC Reporting
  • Resolve complex accounting issues and implement new standards like ASC606 and ASC842
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with public, private, or private equity companies
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical skills
  • Ability to travel at least 50%

Additional Information

Salary ranges vary by location, generally between $75.00/hr and $105.00/hr. BDO offers a culture centered on diversity, growth, and employee ownership through an ESOP plan.
