Job Overview
This role involves supporting clients with various tasks within accounting and finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Controller, CFO, or Project Leader for clients
- Manage multiple client stakeholders simultaneously
- Prepare accounting reports
- Lead and participate in ad hoc projects
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
- Perform due diligence procedures for clients
- Assist with SEC Reporting
- Resolve complex accounting issues and implement new standards like ASC606 and ASC842
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with public, private, or private equity companies
- Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- CPA certification preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical skills
- Ability to travel at least 50%
Additional Information
Salary ranges vary by location, generally between $75.00/hr and $105.00/hr. BDO offers a culture centered on diversity, growth, and employee ownership through an ESOP plan.
